Honoring our Veterans with a 2,000 Flag Tribute
The VSC proudly displayed and played host to the Field of Honor Flag event on July 10 - July 13, 2008. There were 2,000 3'x5' US flags standing 8 foot tall in perfect rows and columns across a field of green.
This tribute honored all veterans and members of our armed forces that defend our freedom. All proceeds will be used for maintaining unkempt monuments andd memorials within Summit County and to erect a new veterans' monument on the new site of the Veterans Service Commission.
