DESCRIPTION:Job Summary: \nUnder the direction of the Executive Director\, this role provides transportation for veterans and/or their dependents to and from VA medical facilities and other approved destinations. Responsibilities include scheduling\, maintaining vehicle logs\, ensuring vehicle upkeep\, and delivering courteous\, confidential service to clients. \nJob Type: Part-Time 20-25 Hours/Variable \nPay: $21.63 per hour \nMinimum Qualifications: \nHonorably discharged veteran \nValid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record \nStrong interpersonal and communication skills \nReliable\, punctual\, and able to work independently \nBasic reporting and documentation skills \nKey Responsibilities: \nServe as backup to transport veterans safely to scheduled appointments \nMaintain and inspect county vehicles \nSchedule and communicate transportation routes to drivers \nLog mileage\, fuel\, and time worked \nPerform other duties requested by the Veterans’ Service Office. \nHow to Apply: Email your resume and DD214 to lmoore@vscsummitoh.us. \nDEADLINE: August 15\, 2025.
