Summit County VSC’s ‘12 Days of Gifting’ Toy Donation Drive Seeks to Serve Summit County Veteran Families

Summit County VSC's 12 Days of Gifting Toy Donation Drive

Drop Off Your Toy or Gift Card Donations Until Sat., Dec. 11; Join Us for FREE Appreciation Lunch Dec. 11

At the VSC, we’re welcoming our neighbors – residents, organizations and businesses – to give back to Summit County Veteran families through the donation of toys and gift cards through our annual “12 Days of Gifting” toy donation drive. And we’re also celebrating the service to our community through a free “Appreciation Lunch” on Sat., Dec. 11 from 10 to 2 p.m. at our Akron office, 1060 E. Waterloo Rd., Akron, OH 44306.

From now until through the Appreciation Lunch, we’re accepting new, unwrapped toys and gift cards to benefit Veterans in Summit County who have received services through the VSC by providing gifts to their children and/or dependents at Christmas. New for 2021, the VSC of Summit County Toy Donation Drive also will benefit any pre-qualified Summit County, honorably discharged Veterans who meet S.N.A.P. income guidelines. Toys are for children between the ages of newborn and 12; gift cards are available for those children older than 12 to age 18. Please apply by visiting the VSC website and clicking on the Toy Drive banner.
